Building the evidence for what works in reducing the risk of homelessness
The social and economic costs of homelessness are significant yet there remains limited evidence on what works for reducing homelessness, including for groups who are particularly vulnerable such as young people leaving care. CEI, with partners Monash University, the Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) and Cultural and Indigenous Research Centre Australia (CIRCA) are undertaking three different evaluations of flagship homelessness projects funded by the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.
