CEI is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Anna Riggall as a Director based in our London office.
Anna joins CEI after more than a decade heading up the research division of Education Development Trust, a not-for-profit organisation working to improve education outcomes and transitions into work for people across the world. She brings an exceptional record in research, evaluation, evidence synthesis and implementation science.
She is a senior leader with extensive experience in global research and consultancy, focused on social development, education and poverty alleviation. Over the past five years, Anna has led more than 300 projects in 80 countries, working with governments, research institutions and foundations and trusts in the UK and globally.
She brings to CEI a unique blend of high-level technical research and implementation expertise, and the ability to build lasting partnerships. She has led test and learn trials, capacity development initiatives, and improvement and implementation projects at national scale.
She is passionate about creating, translating, applying and implementing good evidence in decision-making to improve people’s lives, bringing what she describes as “a knack for championing people”.
Anna’s experience includes prior roles with the National Foundation of Education Research and experience in academia and as a teacher, and she holds a PhD in Education and a Master of Arts in International Development.
