Frances is an accomplished social worker with extensive experience implementing evidence-based practices in community service organisations.
She began her social work career in direct practice with children and families in the youth justice and child protection systems and later transitioned into program management and implementation.
For more than 10 years, Frances has been implementing systems and practices that are evidence-driven, across a breadth of sectors including disability, family violence, and out-of-home care. She has experience supporting implementation across Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Southeast Asia, all of which has enhanced her understanding of complex systems.
Frances is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for communities. She channels that passion into supporting the sector to make the most of evidence-based practices through effective implementation. Frances was recently awarded the 2024 Leadership Award by the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare, in recognition of her contribution to the sector.
Frances holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from RMIT, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Edith Cowan University (Western Australia).
