Euclea is passionate about integrating design and developing creative solutions to making accurate information accessible to all. She brings to CEI years of freelance and industry experience in design, creative production and communications.
Euclea holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Geography from the National University of Singapore, where she was awarded for her thesis research on the materiality and temporality of militarised masculinities in Singapore. She has experience conducting fieldwork across multiple geographies – including Singapore, Kenya and Japan – utilising emerging and experimental research methodologies, such as auto-photography and participatory methods.
Her research interests include (but are not limited to) climate justice, inclusivity and liveability in spatial design, gender and sexuality, as well as the politics of knowledge production. This has enabled her to work across diverse industries in various roles, ranging from sustainability consulting to creative production in sustainability news. Prior to CEI, she was also a research assistant at the National University of Singapore, working on a project investigating the use of feminist pedagogy in education on contemporary issues.
